What we collect
To sell and deliver to you, we collect:
- Your name, phone number and, if you give it, your email address.
- Your delivery address and any delivery instructions.
- Your order history and the contents of your cart.
- Payment status and a transaction reference from the payment provider.
- Technical information such as your IP address when you submit a form, which we use to limit abuse.
If you create an account we also store your password as a one-way hash. We cannot read it, and neither can anyone who obtains the database.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your card number, expiry date or CVV. Card payments, where enabled, are handled entirely on the payment provider's own hosted page.
Why we use it
We use your information to confirm, prepare and deliver your order, to answer your questions, to keep accurate business and tax records, and to prevent fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
- Couriers receive the name, address and phone number needed to deliver your parcel.
- Payment providers receive the amount and a reference so a payment can be matched to an order.
- Our email provider receives your email address in order to send transactional messages.
Receipts and uploaded documents
If you upload a payment receipt it is stored in private storage, not in a publicly reachable folder, and can only be opened by authorised staff through an authenticated link.
Marketing
We only send marketing email to people who have asked for it, and every such message includes a way to unsubscribe. Order confirmations and delivery updates are not marketing and are sent for every order.
How long we keep it
Orders and the records attached to them are kept for as long as needed for business, accounting and tax purposes. You may ask us to delete your account; we may still need to retain order records.
Your requests
To ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, contact us using the details on our contact page. We will ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. Analytics are only loaded if the store owner has configured them.
